In this class people get admitted based on their ability to become economically established in Canada. People in a wide variety of occupations/ professions, can qualify under this group either as:

• Federal Skilled Worker Class:
  Professionals and people with transferable skills. The selection system is based on the number of points scored on selection factors
• Federal Skilled Trades Class:
  For selected tradespersons with experience in select occupational areas
• Business People:
  People with previous business management experience
• Canada Experience Class: 
  People who have previously been (or at present are) working in Canada. This includes Temporary Foreign Workers and International Students.
