Provincial Entrepreneur Programs:

Each province (state) of Canada offers options for Entrepreneurs, who are interested in making investments in the province, by either purchasing an existing business or starting a new business and creating employment in the process. The Entrepreneur is expected to actively participate in day-to-day operation of the business and settle in the province with their family.

The Applicants are selected based on the following qualities:

• Business idea
• Investment amount
• Net Worth

Some provinces have started considering other factors like Age, Education, Language abilities, etc. 

Though, the minimum amount of investments starts from CA$ 200,000, successful candidates are those who demonstrate the capability and willingness to invest substantially higher amounts.
