Quebec Skilled Worker

Quebec Skilled Worker

This program targets people who have education and skills to be able to independently settle and work in Quebec.

The selection is based on a combination of Selection factors and a Point system. The selection system is focussed on the family unit, including spouse and young children.

The applicants are assessed on factors like Age, education, length of experience, proficiency in Official languages (French/English), Vaild Employment offer, previous stay and work in Quebec, etc. Some of the factors also apply to spouse of the applicant thus focussing on the family unit.

Based on the individual situation, points are awarded for each of these factors, as per the Points system. An applicant with a total score more than the Pass mark is qualified to apply. [However, restrictions on intake of applications are in effect]
